Xavier Begaud was born on December 11, 1968 in Chateaudun, France. He has also organized many short term lectures and workshops in the field of applied electromagnetics that have been well attended by participants from both the academia and industry.
He has organized two international conferences as the general chairman and edited 1 book. He joined the department of electrical engineering and automation in Aalto University in 2014 where he works as a researcher in the group of computational electromechanics. degree in Electronic and Electrical engineering from Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), U. His research interests include, nano communication, RF design and radio propagation, applications of Terahertz communication in healthcare and agri-tech, millimetre wave and terahertz antenna design, antenna interaction with human body, wearable sensors, Implants, body centric wireless communication issues and non-invasive health care solutions. He organized and served as the general chairman of URSI Turkey national congress, in 2018.
Floran Martin was born on August 12, 1985 in Ancenis, France. His research topics include not only thermo-magneto-mechanical constitutive model of magnetic materials, but also the model and optimization of electrical devices such as high speed synchronous machine and reluctance machines. Abbasi received his BSc and MSc degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan (with distinction). Di Bao is an Associate Professor in School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University (SEU), China.
Thereafter, he completed his postdoctoral from the Royal Military College of Canada.
He is currently Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
His areas of research interest are full-wave Green’s function technique for the analysis of cylindrical and spherical multilayer structures, singularity removal techniques, efficient evaluation of Sommerfeld integral tails and leaky and creeping waves in cylindrical structures.
He is also actively involved in the design and analysis of efficient horn antenna feeds, metamaterials, dielectric resonator antennas, antenna miniaturization and numerical techniques.
He organized special sessions about nonlinear metamaterials at META 15 and META 16.
He has given several invited talks and seminars to different conferences and universities.
